Supplying TV and Film makers..
Over the years Leavesley International has supplied various television and film makers with vehicles and equipment which, with a keen eye, can be spotted on screen.
Listed below are just a few of the productions we have supplied to:
The BBC series 'All Quiet on the Preston Front' was supplied with ex British Army Bedfords and Land Rovers. These were used as 'Territorial Army' vehicles on the program which screened over three years.
On the Silver Screen 007-James Bond and the production team took delivery of some ex Russian Army trucks. These first appeared in the Film 'Golden Eye' and then again later in 'Tomorrow Never Dies'.
Another Block Buster we supplied for was George Lucas' 'StarWars- Episode 1 the Phantom Menace'. Items were bought to help create scenery and 'Pod-Racers'.
And finally our latest appearance was on BBC's 'TopGear' (season 14 episode3) where Jeremy, Richard and James take on various tasks posing as 17 year old 'New drivers'and their first cars. Their final challenge was to race around the Dunsfold track avoiding objects and the parked cars we supplied, and in the true spirit of Top Gear these cars were demolished!
