Anaerobic Digestion (AD) is a natural process in which micro-organisms decompose organic matter in airtight digester tanks to produce biogas and digestate. Biogas is a source of renewable energy, whilst digestate is a highly valuable biofertiliser.

Our initial prime drivers were the reduction of costs and increase in social responsibility. The reduction in farm odours and increase in waste recycling worked in the round, reduced costs, helped the environment, and supported government initiatives to work towards a zero waste economy
Benefits of Anaerobic Digestion
Closes the production cycle
Lower use of fossil fuels
Lower GHG emissions from open manure stores
Lower use of mineral fertiliser
