About The Leavesly Group...

The Group has been a family owned trading company for 89 years, and the current board of directors of 4, still has 3 family members.

Trade started following the end of WW 1 when James Leavesley Snr bought a used bicycle from the UK army, and sold it locally from his home in Alrewas, Staffordshire. Further purchases and sales followed, and over the years gathered momentum, scale and variety.

The core business of used vehicle, and plant & machinery trading continues but operations now extend to 12 UK sites, several overseas sites, and turnover of £25 million. This has been enabled through  substantial investment in property, associated and ancillary products and services, and our ability to handle multi national contracts with a personal service and small focused teams.
